The 41st Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine received four “Novator-2” armored vehicles, purchased with funds raised by volunteers with the support of the State Bureau of Investigations. The vehicles were delivered to enhance the mobility and protection of units on the front lines.

The transfer of the vehicles was announced by Ukrainian Armored Vehicles, the manufacturer.

Thousands of Ukrainians, business representatives, volunteers, employees of the State Bureau of Investigations, and project partners joined the initiative, which was announced in January of this year.

In total, over 90 million hryvnias were raised. These funds will be used to manufacture a total of 7 armored vehicles for the brigade.

The company reported that the first four vehicles will be delivered to the military in the near future, while three more are in the final stages of production.

According to military officials, the combat vehicles will carry out missions in the Kupiansk area.

“…In 2024, in Chasovyi Yar, the ‘Novator’ withstood a strike from an FPV drone while I was inside. That’s why I trust these vehicles. In the Kupiansk sector, they will help safely transport personnel to disembarkation points, which is one of the key tasks for armored vehicles today,” said Colonel Vyacheslav Grebennikov, deputy commander of the 41st Mechanized Brigade.

Designed with real combat experience in mind, the “Novator-2” armored vehicle can carry 10 soldiers, offers a high level of protection for the crew and troops, features a powerful engine, and has enhanced off-road capability.

The vehicle is powered by a 6.7-liter, 8-cylinder engine with 300 horsepower, and the “Novator” is equipped with an automatic transmission. The vehicle is equipped with run-flat technology, which allows it to continue driving even with damaged tires.

This version of the domestically produced armored vehicle uses a Ford F-550 wheeled chassis.
