Allseeds has suspended operations in the Odesa region due to Russian attacks
Allseeds, a Ukrainian agribusiness holding company and one of the largest producers and exporters of vegetable oil, has temporarily suspended operations at its facilities in the Odesa region. The company explained that this decision was made due to ongoing Russian attacks on the region’s port infrastructure.
The holding emphasized that the safety of its employees remains the top priority. At the same time, the company plans to resume operations as soon as the security situation allows.
The Ukrainian agro-industrial holding company Allseeds announced the temporary suspension of operations at its production facilities in the Odesa region. The company reported this in an official statement. This decision was prompted by regular Russian strikes on the region’s port infrastructure, which pose a threat to people and the company.
The company noted that continuing operations under current conditions has become too dangerous. “Continued operations in the Odesa region pose extremely high risks to the lives and safety of employees, as well as to the company’s facilities,” the statement reads.
The holding company explained that the decision was not an easy one, but the safety of people remains the top priority. “This difficult decision was made in light of the urgent need to ensure the safety of employees, as well as to preserve the company’s production assets, infrastructure, and human and operational capacity,” Allseeds emphasized.
The company reported that the suspension of operations will proceed in accordance with Ukrainian law. At the same time, the company intends to retain the necessary resources, equipment, and personnel so that it can resume operations as quickly as possible once the security situation improves. The holding company emphasized that it views this decision as a temporary measure and hopes to resume production once the situation in the region stabilizes.
