The Czech Republic has announced its intention to join the Expanded Partial Agreement on the establishment of a special tribunal to investigate Russia’s crime of aggression against Ukraine.
This was announced by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga.
Thus, the Czech Republic has become the 23rd country to express its readiness to support the establishment of the special tribunal.
Sybiga thanked the Czech side for this decision and called on other states to join the initiative.
He also noted that the issue of establishing the tribunal will be brought before the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe on May 14–15 in Chisinau.
According to the foreign minister, all those involved in instigating and waging war against Ukraine must be held accountable, and justice for the crime of aggression is inevitable.
Earlier, Austria officially confirmed its intention to join the Enlarged Partial Agreement on the Special Tribunal on Russia’s Crime of Aggression against Ukraine.
