The State Bureau of Investigation has launched a special operation against the illegal sale of drugs and ammunition
The State Bureau of Investigations is conducting a special operation called “Stop Trafficking,” aimed at combating the illegal trafficking of drugs, weapons, and ammunition.
It is noted that particular attention is being paid to crimes in the military environment and schemes linked to areas where combat operations are taking place.
Over the course of several days, SBI personnel are simultaneously conducting investigative and procedural actions in various regions of Ukraine. The operation encompasses dozens of criminal cases involving the illegal trafficking of narcotics, psychotropic substances, weapons, and ammunition.
As part of the operation, evidence from 26 criminal cases is being reviewed. Arrests have already been made and notices of suspicion issued; searches are being conducted, and supply and distribution channels are being identified.
It is reported that the objective of the special operation is to uncover the entire chain of illicit trafficking: the sources of drugs and weapons, the organizers of the schemes, suppliers, intermediaries, and individuals who facilitate their activities.

The National Police of Ukraine carried out the third and final phase of the nationwide anti-drug special operation “Rubicon.” In total, over the course of the three phases, law enforcement officials served notices of suspicion to 367 individuals involved in criminal proceedings and dismantled a significant portion of the drug infrastructure in Ukraine.
Prior to this, prosecutors from the Transcarpathian Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for the Western Region referred an indictment to court against two members of an organized group, who are accused of smuggling nearly 6 kilograms of cocaine into Ukraine and preparing the drugs for sale.
