Dmytro Komarov received a waiver: his production company was deemed essential
The Ministry of Culture has confirmed the status of “Svit Navivorot” Production LLC—owned by TV host Dmytro Komarov—as a critically important enterprise. This allows the company to exempt its employees subject to military conscription from military service.
According to YouControl, Dmytro Komarov is the founder and owner of the production company. The company produces television and video content.
The document was signed by Tetyana Berezhna, Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister for Humanitarian Policy and Minister of Culture. According to the order, “Production ‘The World Inside Out’” LLC meets the criteria established for enterprises, institutions, and organizations that are critical to the functioning of the economy and ensuring the livelihoods of the population during a special period.
In particular, the company has no outstanding tax debts to the state or local budgets, nor any outstanding single contribution for mandatory state social insurance.
Furthermore, the average wage paid to the company’s employees for the last calendar month is no less than the minimum wage in Ukraine multiplied by a factor of three.
Another criterion was the company’s significance to the national economy or its role in meeting the needs of the local community.
The Ministry of Culture has also determined that the company meets the criteria for enterprises that are of significant importance to the national economy in the information sector.
Specifically, this refers to enterprises, institutions, and organizations that produce patriotic and socially significant audiovisual works for television channels on a monthly basis and/or broadcast them on a unified information platform for strategic communication — the round-the-clock news marathon “Unified News #UAtogether.”
