The Spanish Minister of Defense has arrived in Ukraine on a visit
During her visit to Kyiv, Spanish Defense Minister Margarita Robles paid tribute to Ukrainian defenders by laying flowers at the Wall of Remembrance on St. Michael’s Square.
This was reported by the Spanish Ministry of Defense.
As noted, Robles arrived in the Ukrainian capital to hold a series of meetings with senior Ukrainian officials. She began her working visit by honoring the fallen soldiers.
“The minister began her first working day in Kyiv by laying flowers in honor of Ukraine’s defenders. The Wall of Remembrance on Mykhailivska Square has become a place to honor those who gave their lives for their country,” the statement reads.
The Spanish Ministry of Defense also emphasized its support for Ukraine.
“Spain always stands with Ukraine,” the ministry emphasized.
The minister’s first day of work in Kyiv begins with a floral tribute to the defenders of Ukraine.
The Wall of Remembrance on Mykhailivska Square served as the setting for this tribute to those who gave their lives for their country.

Earlier, European Commission Vice-President and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Kaja Kallas arrived in Kyiv on a visit, accompanied by European ministers. Their visit coincides with the anniversary of the tragedy in Bucha, which has become one of the most horrific symbols of Russian aggression against Ukraine.
Prior to this, a Hungarian delegation led by Gábor Csepék, State Secretary of the Ministry of Energy, arrived in Ukraine to hold talks on resuming operations of the Druzhba oil pipeline and inspecting its condition.
