The ex-husband of blogger Anastasia Skalnytska reported a salary of only 645 UAH

Bogdan Skalnytskyi, the ex-husband of Ukrainian blogger and founder of the Freesia brand Anastasia Skalnytska, reported only 645 hryvnias in salary for 2025 from the Physical Security Police Department in Kyiv. He listed an additional 442 hryvnias as a prize or winnings.

At the same time, the 26-year-old man’s tax return does not list any personal property, a car, or other sources of income.

The document shows that his total income for the entire year of 2025 amounted to just 1,087 hryvnias. By comparison, in his 2024 tax return, his salary with the police was approximately 27,900 hryvnias per month before taxes.

Bogdan Skalnytskyi is a native of Nizhyn in the Chernihiv region. In his tax return, he is listed as an employee of the Police Department for Physical Security in Kyiv—a government agency that, among other things, provides security for facilities and premises. According to available data, he began working for the police at the age of 20 at the latest—around 2020.

At the same time, for 2025, the column for salary from this employer lists only 645 hryvnias. Skalnytskyi received an additional 442 hryvnias as a prize (winnings) from gambling. No other income is listed in the declaration.

It is worth noting that civil servants’ declarations must reflect not only property they own but also property they use. Therefore, if Skalnytskyi has been using a rented apartment or car for an extended period, these circumstances may be of interest to the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption.

Interestingly, his wife, Anastasia Skalnytska, declared 9,327,375 hryvnias in income from her own sole proprietorship during the same period. That averages out to about 777,000 hryvnias per month. In addition, she accumulated 4 million hryvnias and 100,000 U.S. dollars in cash.

Equally intriguing is the business activity of Skalnytskyi’s parents, who opened their sole proprietorships after Bohdan had already begun dating Anastasia. His father, Ruslan, registered his sole proprietorship on March 9, 2023. The primary business activity is general house cleaning.

Bogdan’s mother, Tetiana Skalnytska, registered her sole proprietorship on November 18, 2023. Her primary KVED code is “Advertising Agencies.” Other activities include brokerage services for placing advertisements in the media and other types of education.

Financial issues became one of the main topics following the divorce of Anastasia and Bogdan Skalnytskyi. About three weeks ago, the blogger announced her separation from her husband and later claimed that their marriage was marred by deception, debt, and infidelity.

According to Anastasia, she had considered Bogdan someone she could fully trust, but after the divorce, she allegedly learned of significant financial problems. In particular, the blogger claimed that the cars they bought or leased with her money were actually rented, and the expensive gifts—including a Rolex and a Hermès bag—turned out to be fakes.

“My ex-husband is a professional con artist. He started a relationship just to fleece me out of my money later on, cheat on me his whole life with prostitutes, leave my business in debt, and take out loans in my employees’ names... Ten days after the divorce, facts started coming to light that I never thought existed. It feels like this isn’t my life—it’s a TV show,” Skalnytska stated.

According to the blogger, at the beginning of their relationship, Bohdan allegedly saw her first and foremost as a girl “who makes money.” She also said that he helped her buy her first car, and about a month and a half after they met, she claimed, he staged a situation that led her to believe he had been arrested. Skalnytska claimed that she then sold her car and other belongings to raise money for his release.

“The wedding was paid for with my money, but he also contributed some money. He’s not a gigolo. He’s a con artist. He didn’t live off me. It’s just that the debt that already existed, and all the other debts accumulated over three years, never actually existed. He simply took money from me and lived off it,” the blogger said.

Anastasia also claimed that after Bohdan Skalnytskyi worked at her company, only 800 hryvnias remained in the business’s account, and she later allegedly learned about loans taken out in her employees’ names. According to her, after the divorce, the business was left with debts totaling more than one million hryvnias.

Bogdan Skalnytskyi’s ex-girlfriend, Kateryna, also spoke separately about her financial claims against him. Her statements were published by the XO Magazine Telegram channel. According to her, they broke up in March 2023 (which is when Bohdan’s father registered his sole proprietorship).

During their relationship, Bohdan Skalnytskyi lived in her apartment, and after they broke up, he still owed her money. According to Kateryna, he finally paid her off just one week before he proposed to his new girlfriend, Anastasia.

The woman also released a snippet of their correspondence and a voice message which, according to her, was recorded by Bohdan. In it, he talks about money and mentions Anastasia.

“We’re currently working with these bloggers to get them to run ads. We just went to hang out with Talpa (Anastasia Skalnytska’s last name from her first marriage—Ed.). She’s a total bitch. We’ve come to an agreement for now! Katya, I’ll figure it out right now; I’ll transfer at least 10,000 to your card. How much is that? 250 dollars?” reads the audio recording released by Bogdan’s ex-girlfriend.

Kateryna also explained why she decided to speak publicly about her past relationship.

“I can’t write this personally or attach all the files, messages, and voice recordings here, so I’ll just share a small part of this story. We broke up in March 2023. Throughout our relationship, he took advantage of the fact that he was living with me. There were incidents involving police searches, stories about his mother having cancer, and many other things that are now too complicated to even recount in a few Instagram Stories. Even after we broke up, he still owed me money. He finally paid me back just a week before he proposed to Anastasia—after a long string of schemes and deceit,” she wrote.

Blogger Skalnytska accused her ex-husband of cheating and called him a con artist.
