A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Gordiychuk, the former head of Svarog West Group
Andriy Hordiychuk, the former chairman of the board of “Svarog West Group” (now “West Group”) and a former member of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Council, has been placed on the national wanted list.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, he is evading pre-trial investigation authorities. A court has ordered his detention in absentia as a preventive measure.
Hordiychuk is suspected of fraud and misappropriation of property. Law enforcement officials previously stated that he allegedly obtained approximately 185 million hryvnias in loans from a state-owned bank through companies under his control and sold part of the collateralized equipment to third parties. According to the investigation, the bank’s losses amounted to approximately 140 million hryvnias.

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) conducted searches in connection with the case involving Stefanishyna’s alleged illicit enrichment.
