A former professor at a Kyiv university revealed the amount of her pension

An 82-year-old former professor at a Kyiv university revealed how much she receives in pension benefits. She also shared whether this amount is enough for her to live on in Kyiv and caught the attention of social media users with her appearance.

The Kyiv resident said she previously worked as a professor at the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. She taught theoretical electrical engineering.

According to the former professor, she receives a “decent” pension, which is enough for her to live on. This amount totals over 10,000 UAH. “I can’t complain. It’s a decent pension. It’s enough for me. Maybe it’s not enough for some people. But it’s enough for me... You can’t go all out, of course. You won’t go to restaurants, but it’s enough for a decent life in old age,” the Kyiv resident admitted.

The retiree also shared how she manages to stay stylish at 82. According to her, at her age, you have to “keep yourself together.” So even despite a lack of desire and energy, she advises the younger generation to keep moving forward and not give up.
