Yermak arrived at the High Anti-Corruption Court’s appeal hearing, where a complaint regarding the preventive measure will be considered
Andriy Yermak, former head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, appeared at a hearing of the Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court.
The panel of judges plans to thoroughly review the appeal filed by the defense.
The lawyers are challenging the previously imposed pretrial measure for the former official. Currently, all participants in the proceedings have gathered in the courtroom to begin the hearing.
Before the hearing began, the former head of the Presidential Office spoke with journalists.
Commenting on his expectations for the trial, he briefly noted: “I expect a fair trial.” The defense insists that the charges are completely unfounded and is requesting that the restrictions be lifted.
