Rain and thunderstorms are expected in some regions of Ukraine on June 11

On Thursday, June 11, variable cloudiness is forecast across Ukraine, with precipitation varying by region. The rainiest conditions will persist in Zakarpattia and Prykarpattia, where moderate and, in some places, heavy rain is expected. In the rest of the western regions, as well as in the southeast of the country, short-lived rains are expected, which will be accompanied by thunderstorms in some places. No significant precipitation is expected in the rest of Ukraine. 

Winds across the country will be predominantly southerly at 5–10 m/s. Overnight temperatures will range from +13° to +18°. During the day, air temperatures in most regions will be a comfortable +23...+28°C, and only in the far west of Ukraine will it be slightly cooler—between +18...+23°C.

In Kyiv and the Kyiv region, variable cloudiness will also persist on Thursday, but residents of the capital region won’t need umbrellas, as forecasters aren’t predicting any precipitation. The wind will be southerly and moderate. At night, temperatures in the capital will range from +16° to +18°, and during the day, the air will warm up to +26° to +28°. Across the region, nighttime temperatures will range from +13° to +18°, while daytime highs will reach +23...+28°.

May 2026 in Kyiv turned out to be warmer than usual and was accompanied by a series of meteorological anomalies. The city recorded new all-time high temperatures, as well as periods of the greatest heat during the month.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center released a forecast for the second month of spring, according to which temperatures and precipitation will remain within the climatic norm.
