Ukraine has updated its Starlink verification rules

Ukraine has changed the rules for verifying Starlink terminals in order to add them to the “whitelist.” The new requirements apply to legal entities, individuals, and sole proprietors alike.

For legal entities, submitting applications through the “Diya” portal is now available only to companies that have been registered in the Unified State Register for more than one year. During registration, you must provide the KIT number and UTID, as well as the Dish ID and Starlink account number, if available. For most companies, the limit is set at 10 terminals, while for critical enterprises, no restrictions apply.

Individuals and sole proprietors can complete verification through the Administrative Service Center (ASC), as well as at branches of Ukrposhta and Nova Poshta. To do this, you must provide your KIT number and UTID, as well as your Dish ID and account number (if available), and present all terminals being registered.

In addition, new services have been introduced. Legal entities can remove terminals from the registry via “Diyu” and obtain a statement of registered devices, while individuals and sole proprietors can remove terminals through the Administrative Service Centers (ASCs). After the information is verified, the terminal is added to the “whitelist” and operates without restrictions.

In Kyiv, the Security Service of Ukraine detained two people suspected of working for the FSB. According to the investigation, they were registering Starlink satellite terminals for Russian entities and had managed to register more than 70 such devices.

In Dnipro, the Security Service of Ukraine detained a man suspected of aiding Russian intelligence agencies. According to the SBU, he organized a scheme to illegally activate over 1,000 Starlink satellite communication systems for the enemy’s use.
