According to our sources, Ukrainian businessman Vadym Yermolayev sustained minor injuries as a result of an explosion in a residential building in Monaco.
A child was also injured, but the child’s life is not in danger.
UA.News spoke with doctors at the Monaco City Hospital, where Vadym Yermolayev, his partner, and their child were taken.
Doctors reported that the businessman survived, his health is not in danger, but he will remain under treatment until mid-July. The condition of the woman who was next to him was much more serious. According to available information, as a result of the injuries she received, she had to have her lower limbs amputated.
Yermolaev is paying for the treatment himself without insurance. The businessman's room is provided with 24-hour security.
Investigative actions are underway in his Bentley and in the rented apartment in Monaco, looking for other explosive devices.
After the explosion, the suspect was tracked by video surveillance cameras to the city of Beausoleil, but then the police lost sight of him.
