Before his dismissal, Fedorov reported over ₴1.1 million in salary
Former Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov submitted an electronic declaration of assets and income for the period from January 1 to July 16, 2026. This document is submitted in connection with his resignation from office.
According to the declaration, which Fedorov submitted on August 13, he received 1,158,180 UAH in salary during the specified period.
The declaration also lists the income of the former minister’s wife.
Specifically, she declared 4,250,785 UAH in income from entrepreneurial activities.
Among his savings, Fedorov listed:
- 1.4 million UAH in bank accounts;
- his wife has 598,800 UAH in accounts;
- an additional $15,000 in cash.
According to the document, Mykhailo Fedorov owns:
- an apartment in Kyiv with an area of 74.8 square meters;
- a non-residential space of 2.9 square meters that he rents;
- and uses two parking spaces measuring 15.6 and 15.7 square meters.
His wife declared:
- a land plot with an area of 20,000 square meters in the Zaporizhzhia region;
- the lease of two non-residential premises in Kyiv with areas of 17.3 and 47.8 square meters.
The former minister also noted that he uses cars belonging to his wife:
- a 2019 Audi Q8;
- a 2016 Audi A4.
In addition, the declaration lists intellectual property rights. Mykhailo Fedorov owns the SMMSTUDIO trademark, and his wife owns the COVER trademark.
As a reminder, on July 16, the Verkhovna Rada approved the new composition of the Cabinet of Ministers following the appointment of Serhiy Koretsky as prime minister.
At the same time, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of Defense were not appointed under the presidential quota, as the relevant nominations had not been submitted to parliament.
On July 23, Mykhailo Fedorov thanked President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for the proposed options for his future work but stated that he wanted to directly influence the course of the war. According to him, he did not agree to any position other than that of Minister of Defense.
As a reminder, the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption completed 415 full audits of Ukrainian officials’ asset declarations for the first half of 2026. The audits revealed signs of violations totaling approximately 1.9 billion hryvnias, and nearly a hundred criminal cases were opened based on the established facts. Among the findings were undeclared foreign real estate, luxury cars, and other assets.
In addition, the National Agency for Corruption Prevention (NACP) completed an automated review of asset declarations filed for 2025. A total of 244,659 declarations passed the review successfully, representing 40.26% of all documents subject to automated verification.
