The hotel owned by Yanukovych's security chief in Bukovel will be put up for auction
The State Property Fund of Ukraine is preparing the AmstelSki hotel complex in Bukovel for privatization; the complex previously belonged to Vyacheslav Zanevsky, a former security chief for Viktor Yanukovych who is subject to sanctions and is currently an officer in the Russian Armed Forces. Currently, all seizures and encumbrances have been lifted by the courts, and an inventory, asset valuation, and registration of property rights to the land plots are underway in preparation for the sale.
In February 2025, the High Anti-Corruption Court confiscated 100% of the corporate rights to AMSTEL-SKI LLC, the land under the complex, and five trademarks for the state. According to the agency, after the start of the full-scale invasion, Zanevsky helped the occupiers build military and logistical facilities—including a bridge in Mariupol—and assisted in identifying Ukrainian patriots and military personnel in the occupied territories.

The Voznesenivsky District Court of Zaporizhzhia sentenced FSB officer Yan Zanevsky in absentia to 12 years in prison for violating the laws and customs of war. Zanevsky is the son of Vyacheslav Zanevsky, who headed the security service of fugitive President Viktor Yanukovych from 2008 to 2013.
The High Anti-Corruption Court granted the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine’s claim against Vyacheslav Zanevsky to forfeit his assets to the state. Specifically, this includes the AmstelSki hotel in Bukovel.
