The last residents have been evacuated from the frontline village of Dolynka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast

Soldiers from the 154th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out an extremely difficult operation to evacuate the last two residents of the village of Dolynka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. An elderly man and woman had remained in the village until the very end, but as the front line approached and shelling continued, staying there had become life-threatening. 

This was reported by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.

During the evacuation, the team came under attack by Russian drones, but thanks to the soldiers’ professionalism, they managed to get the residents out unharmed. 

After successfully leaving the combat zone, the evacuees were handed over to police officers, who transported them to the Transit Hub in Zaporizhzhia. There, the people received initial medical and psychological assistance, as well as food and temporary housing. Authorities are once again urging residents of frontline settlements not to delay evacuation, as the intensity of enemy attacks on civilian infrastructure and logistics routes continues to increase. Currently, the village of Dolynka is considered fully evacuated of its civilian population.

In the Donetsk region, Russian troops once again struck with a drone at people engaged in rescuing civilians. This time, the target was the State Emergency Service’s “Phoenix” evacuation team, which was in the process of carrying out a mission to evacuate residents from the danger zone.

In the Kherson region, due to the worsening security situation and an increase in attacks by Russian drones, a decision was made to mandate the evacuation of children along with their parents from certain settlements in the Kherson community.
