Zelenskyy announced active cooperation with the United States
Ukraine continues to work closely with the United States at all levels—from the White House to American businesses and civil society organizations. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made this statement following a meeting with an American delegation in Kyiv. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made this statement during an evening video address.
According to the head of state, representatives of the influential American think tank, the Hudson Institute, have arrived in Ukraine. Zelenskyy emphasized that it is important for international partners to see firsthand what Ukrainians go through every day during the war.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine is not ceasing its work with the U.S. even amid Russia’s constant attacks. According to him, cooperation is ongoing simultaneously in several areas—with the White House, Congress, politicians, the business community, and American civil society.
During his evening address, Zelenskyy specifically mentioned the visit of an American delegation to Kyiv. Among the guests were representatives of the Hudson Institute—one of the most renowned think tanks in the U.S., which focuses on international policy and security issues. “A strong American delegation was here today—we are working with America at all levels. The White House, Congress, the political community, the American corporate sector, and civil society,” the president said.
According to Zelenskyy, it is very important for foreign partners to see the situation in Ukraine firsthand, the consequences of Russian attacks, and the lives of people during the war. “It is worth seeing and feeling what Ukrainians are going through, what our country is going through,” the head of state emphasized.
The president also thanked the U.S. for its support of Ukraine. He emphasized that America remains one of Kyiv’s key partners in the fight against Russian aggression. “America has not forgotten Ukraine and clearly remembers that this war by Russia against Ukraine must end, and it must end with dignity,” Zelenskyy stated.
In recent months, Ukraine has been actively working to maintain support from the U.S. This involves not only military aid but also financial support, investments, sanctions pressure on Russia, and joint security projects. The Office of the President has repeatedly emphasized that contacts with the American side are now taking place practically every day. Ukrainian authorities are trying to maintain a dialogue not only with the current U.S. administration but also with both American political camps ahead of the presidential election.
American think tanks, civil society organizations, and the business community play a distinct role in this process. It is they who often shape public opinion in Washington and influence political decisions regarding support for Ukraine.
Despite the complex international situation and war fatigue among parts of Western society, Ukrainian authorities are striving to constantly remind their allies of the need for continued assistance and pressure on the Kremlin.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting in Kyiv with representatives of the German delegation, during which the main focus was on strengthening air defense and protecting Ukraine from Russian attacks. They also discussed new formats for security cooperation and the development of defense technologies.
