Ukrenergo has issued a forecast for power outages on May 15

Tomorrow, May 15, 2026, Ukraine does not plan to implement rolling blackouts or power restrictions. The power grid is operating normally, but dispatchers are urging citizens to follow energy-saving guidelines. They ask that special attention be paid to the evening peak from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., when the load on the grid is highest.

This was reported by Ukrenergo.

Experts advise, if possible, to shift the use of high-power electrical appliances, such as washing machines, water heaters, and space heaters, to daytime hours. This will help avoid overloading the system and ensure a stable electricity supply to all consumers. Currently, there is enough power generation to meet the needs of the population and industry, but careful use of resources remains essential to maintain the stability of the power grid.

Due to a Russian attack in the Lviv region, over 21,000 customers were left without power.

As of the morning of May 13, an increase in electricity consumption was recorded in Ukraine, while consumers in six regions remain without power due to Russian attacks on energy infrastructure. Power outages have been reported in the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, and Zaporizhzhia regions.
