Which UZ Trains Have Wi-Fi: Details
Passengers on a number of Ukrzaliznytsia trains can use free Wi-Fi via the Starlink system. The service is already available on 16 Intercity and Intercity+ trains, as well as on four long-distance routes.
Wireless internet is available on trains No. 91 Kyiv–Lviv, No. 95 Kyiv–Rakhiv, No. 79 Dnipro–Lviv, and No. 81 Kyiv–Uzhhorod.
On Intercity trains, each passenger has access to 2 GB of free internet—to connect, select the “WiFi test” network.
On long-distance trains, the limit is 5 GB, and connection is established through a special web portal. Passengers can also purchase a package for 120 hryvnias, which includes 5 GB at maximum speed; after that, the speed is limited to 1 Mbit/s.
Ukrzaliznytsia warns that due to Starlink’s security restrictions, the internet may temporarily run slower or drop out on certain high-speed sections of the route.
