The Cabinet of Ministers has reappointed the head of the State Nuclear Regulatory Agency
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has once again appointed Oleg Korikov as head of the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine (SNRIU). He will head the agency from the date he actually assumes his duties for a term not exceeding 12 months from the date martial law is terminated or lifted in the country.
It is worth noting that this government decision ensures continuity of leadership in the strategically important field of nuclear safety, as Oleg Korikov’s previous five-year term as head of the SNRIU ended on June 18, 2026.
This is stated in Government Order No. 585-r dated June 17, 2026.
The Cabinet of Ministers appointed Daria Marchak, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture, as the state representative on the supervisory board of JSC “NAEK “Energoatom.”
In addition, an audit of “Energoatom” has begun in Ukraine following the exposure of a large-scale corruption scheme within the company.
