Katerina Kuznetsova declined to star in *The Bachelorette*
Ukrainian actress Kateryna Kuznetsova said she had been offered the lead role in the romantic reality show *The Bachelorette*, but decided to turn it down.
At the same time, she proposed her own alternative concept for the show to the creators.
According to her, she was in talks with the show’s creators. However, the star of the film “Crazy Wedding 2” and the series “Love and Flames” declined to participate and explained why.
“I was offered the role. I turned it down. Just by looking at me, it’s clear that I’m a person with liberal views. I would never allow people to pry into my personal life, not even my past. I have great respect for my ex-husbands. That’s why I wouldn’t allow them to be misrepresented or portrayed in a negative light. And living by a script—that’s not my story,” Kateryna emphasized on the show “Alone with Glamour.”
The actress also revealed that she suggested to the show’s creators that they change the concept during the war and cast a non-public figure as the lead character.
“I’m convinced we should cast another woman from the general public. That’s my personal opinion. Of course, some will say it won’t get any views. I disagree. Because when you’re a public figure, people immediately assume: ‘You have money, you can afford a lot, and you probably don’t have relationship problems.’ But when it’s a woman who, perhaps, is raising a child alone because her husband died on the front lines—or some other story— It could be very relatable, and some people might see themselves in this story,” Kuznetsova added.
The actress spoke about this on the show “Alone with Glamour.”
The internet went wild over a leak featuring contestants from the new season of *The Bachelor*.
The first footage from the filming of the new season of “The Bachelor” was leaked online.
The STB TV channel previously announced that Ukrainian basketball player Vyacheslav Kravtsov would be the lead character in the new season of “The Bachelor.” Over the course of his professional career, he has played for clubs in Ukraine, Spain, China, Turkey, and other countries.
