Exchange Rates as of August 14: The Dollar and the Euro Have Declined in Value
As of the morning of August 14, exchange rates at banks and currency exchange offices had changed only slightly. The dollar fell in value at a number of banks, while the euro lost a few kopecks.
The average dollar exchange rate at currency exchange offices is 44.90 UAH for selling and 44.80 UAH for buying.
The euro is selling for an average of 51.85 UAH at currency exchange offices, which is 5 kopecks cheaper than the previous day. The buying rate is 51.70 UAH.
The best place to buy dollars is Monobank, at 44.83 UAH. Next is Oschadbank via “Mobile Oschad,” where the selling rate is 44.85 UAH.
At PrivatBank branches, the dollar is selling for 44.90 UAH, and at PUMB at the commercial rate—also 44.90 UAH.
The U.S. dollar is most expensive for Oschadbank cardholders and PUMB customers at branches—at 45.10 UAH.
For card transactions, PrivatBank has set the dollar selling rate at 44.84 UAH, while Oschadbank has set it at 45.10 UAH.
Oschadbank offers the lowest euro selling rate among major banks via “Mobile Oschad”—51.90 UAH.
