Lviv Customs has put confiscated peas and sprats up for sale

The Lviv Customs Office has officially announced that it will hold online auctions to sell confiscated food products.

Lviv Customs announced this on Facebook.

The list of available goods includes sprats, green peas, rock salt, and large batches of chilled meat. In total, the organizers have prepared 10 commercial lots, and the auctions themselves are scheduled for May 20 and June 2, 2026.

The sale of the property is conducted through public electronic auctions, ensuring the transparency of the process. Potential buyers have the opportunity to bid on property seized during customs inspections at the border.

Among the first lots offered is “SOL Kujawska” brand iodized rock salt in 1-kg packages with a total weight of 290 kg, with a starting price of 4,924.20 UAH.

Another similar lot of salt was valued at 5,094 UAH.

Particular attention is drawn to specific and expensive items involving meat products. Two separate lots of chilled meat, each weighing 45.4 kg, are being offered at the auction.

The starting price for one such batch is quite high, at 394,490.59 UAH. Such pricing is usually due to the specifics of the confiscated goods’ valuation or the characteristics of the goods themselves.

Customs recorded a significant increase in imports of electric generators and batteries

On January 5, the Georgian government transferred nine industrial generators of various capacities to Ukraine for regions affected by Russian aggression

The Ministry of Health of Ukraine received 143 generators, the purchase of which was jointly funded by the European Union and Germany.
