McQueen won the Ukrainian Cup in FPV drone racing with payloads
The final of the FPV Cargo Racing Cup took place in Ukraine, with pilot Nazar Karmannikov, call sign McQueen, claiming victory. Flying an F7 drone from F-Drones, he posted the best result and became the national champion. The competition brought together a new generation of pilots in the sport of technology. This was reported by the Ukrainian Federation of Technology Sports.
In the final of the Ukrainian Technology Sports Championship in the “FPV Drone Racing with Payload” discipline, victory went to Free Sky team pilot Nazar Karmannikov, known by the call sign McQueen, who competed on an F7 drone from F-Drones and posted the fastest lap time—29.708 seconds.
Organizers from the Ukrainian Technology Sports Federation noted that this competition has long since gone beyond the scope of a mere hobby, as it combines speed, precision control, and payload handling, transforming FPV racing into a full-fledged technology sport of a new level. “Pilot McQueen from Free Sky, flying an F7 drone from manufacturer F-Drones, is the winner of the Ukrainian Championship final in the ‘FPV Drone Racing with Payload’ discipline. Speed. Precision. Control. This is what the next generation of tech sports looks like,” noted the Ukrainian Tech Sports Federation.
They also congratulated the winner and emphasized that the result was the culmination of the work of the pilot, the team, and the equipment manufacturer, who together were able to bring the drone to maximum efficiency under the challenging conditions of the track.
The competition was held with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, the leadership of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, and partners who have joined in developing this field in the country.
The Federation added that such events are already forming a distinct ecosystem where sports, engineering, and technology are gradually merging into a single space that develops both the drone industry and new professional piloting skills.
