Andrea Abodi, Italy’s Minister for Youth and Sports, paid an official visit to Lviv, where he took part in the opening of the “Casa Italia” cultural and sports center.

This was reported by the Italian Embassy in Ukraine.

During the visit, he met with Ukraine’s Minister of Youth and Sports, Matvii Bidnyi. The parties signed a joint action plan for 2026–2027 in the areas of youth policy and sports.

Abodi emphasized that Italy supports Ukraine and views youth development as a key element in the country’s reconstruction. Among the priorities are the development of sports infrastructure, training of specialists, and ensuring transparency in the sports sector.

During the trip, the delegation also paid tribute to the fallen Ukrainian defenders at the Heroes’ Memorial.

Separately, the “Casa Italia” center, established with the support of Italian organizations, was opened in Lviv. The center aims to help children who have lost their parents due to the war by engaging them in sports and creative activities.

The Italian delegation also met with players from the “Pokrova AMP” amputee soccer team, emphasizing the importance of veteran sports for the rehabilitation of military personnel.

During his speech at the Kyiv Security Forum, Prince Harry stated that the United States plays a key role in Russia’s war against Ukraine and must demonstrate leadership for the sake of global stability.

British Prince Harry made his third visit to Ukraine—this time, the trip took place without an official announcement.
