The Ministry of Defense has approved the UAT-SPIDER armored excavator for procurement

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has approved and authorized the supply of the Ukrainian UAT-SPIDER armored backhoe loader to the military. The vehicle was developed in Ukraine to meet the needs of the engineering units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and has been successfully tested.

The vehicle is designed for setting up positions and command posts, constructing and repairing military roads, laying temporary roads, digging trenches and pits, and performing other earthwork tasks.

The main difference from conventional engineering equipment is that the cab and critical components feature bullet- and mine-resistant protection meeting the STANAG 4569 Level 1 standard.

The machine weighs just over 10 metric tons, has a lifting capacity of over 3 metric tons, and can reach speeds of up to 40 km/h.

The Verkhovna Rada and the Ministry of Defense explained the delay in approving funding for eBals.

The Ministry of Defense explained who is eligible to receive up to ₴40,000 in assault pay per day.

Recently, soldiers of the 225th Assault Regiment collected 144 documents belonging to Russian servicemen who were killed in combat. The soldiers displayed a whole collection of passports and other documents belonging to the occupiers. According to the assault troops, these Russian soldiers did not take the opportunity to surrender.
