The Ministry of Defense has ordered body cameras for the Territorial Defense Forces for 291 million hryvnias

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has signed a contract to purchase body-worn cameras for military personnel worth nearly 291 million hryvnia.

This was reported by "Nashi Hroshi."

According to the tender results, 5,525 Motorola body cameras with accompanying equipment are to be delivered by July 31, 2026. The supplier is Dolya & Co. Ltd.

Prices for the cameras remained at the level of the previous purchase: basic models cost over 41,000 UAH per set, and LTE-enabled versions—over 65,000 UAH.

Another company submitted the lowest bid in the tender—amounting to approximately 106 million UAH—but it was rejected due to non-compliance with requirements, specifically the lack of a bank guarantee and necessary technical specifications.

Another participant also proposed a cheaper option, but their bid was rejected due to non-compliance with technical specifications, specifically regarding equipment protection and memory capacity.

Currently, the State Audit Service is investigating the procurement for possible violations during the tender process.

On April 21, the Security Service of Ukraine detained military personnel from one of the regional territorial recruitment and social support centers in Odesa.

It is reported that the detention of the TCC representatives took place on Balkivska Street and involved a chase and gunfire.
