A modern highway is being built in the Dnipropetrovsk region that will handle 25,000 cars per day

Construction is underway in the Dnipropetrovsk region on a nearly 30-kilometer section of the H-31 highway connecting Dnipro, Tsarychanka, Kobelyaky, and Reshetylivka. The new four-lane highway will be able to handle more than 25,000 vehicles per day. Its construction is expected to improve transportation links and reduce travel time between Dnipro and Kyiv.

“The construction of the H-31, which is part of the Dnipro–Kyiv route, is important for the development of transportation links in the Dnipropetrovsk region and for ensuring road connectivity between Dnipro and the central regions of Ukraine,” said Mykola Kalashnyk, Minister of Recovery, Infrastructure, and Transport.

To date, approximately 20% of the total planned work has been completed. The project involves over 330 pieces of equipment and more than 500 workers.

Road workers are performing earthwork, laying the road base, and installing drainage systems and utility lines.

The first completed section of the road is scheduled to open to traffic in December 2026.

This was reported by the press service of the Reconstruction Agency.

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast declared a day of mourning following an attack on a bus carrying DTEK miners.

As a reminder, the occupiers attacked the border area of Chernihiv Oblast.

The Russians also attacked a utility workers’ vehicle in Donetsk Oblast.
