A gang of seven drug dealers will stand trial in the Dnipropetrovsk region

The Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Defense Affairs in the Eastern Region has filed an indictment with the court against seven members of an organized group who sold the psychotropic substance PVP, methamphetamine, and cannabis to civilians and military personnel. 

The members of the group, which was formed in early 2025 by a resident of Nikopol, sold the prohibited substances both directly and through Telegram channels.

According to the investigation, the perpetrators’ illegal profits exceeded 1.5 million hryvnias. Five of the suspects are in custody, while two others are under house arrest; they face up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.

Over the past 24 hours, border guards from the Volyn Detachment thwarted two attempts to smuggle drugs across the Ukrainian-Polish border. In both cases, the illegal substances were detected by service dogs trained to detect drugs.

Law enforcement officers exposed and detained nine members of an organized criminal group who were distributing narcotic and psychotropic substances on a large scale throughout Ukraine, including to military personnel. The special operation was carried out with the assistance of the Military Law Enforcement Service, National Police officers, and the “KORD” special forces unit.
