In the Khmelnytskyi region, the director of a language school is suspected of sexually harassing female students

In the Khmelnytskyi region, law enforcement officials have notified the director of a language center that he is under suspicion of sexual harassment and the sexual abuse of female students. According to the investigation, the man may have committed unlawful acts against underage female students at the educational institution.

Charges

As noted, under the procedural supervision of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the 58-year-old director of a foreign language center has been notified of suspicion of sexual abuse of a minor and underage female students (Parts 1 and 2 of Article 156 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, the man, who also taught English at the center, committed lewd acts against two female students aged 13 and 14 during classes.

It has been established that the acts against one of the victims took place between 2018 and 2020, and against the other between 2023 and 2025.

Why did the victims remain silent?

The girls did not report the incidents for fear of being judged. They spoke out about their experiences after learning about the court proceedings in another criminal case against the center’s director—for the intentional possession of child pornography.

The investigation is ongoing

Law enforcement officials are currently identifying other potential victims, as well as all instances of the suspect’s illegal activities related to sexual abuse of female students.

This was reported with reference to the press center of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
