In the Kyiv region, law enforcement officials detained a couple who had organized a scheme to evade mobilization using fabricated medical diagnoses.
This was reported by the SBU.
According to the investigation, a nurse at the regional tuberculosis dispensary, together with her husband, issued fake medical certificates and Group II disability status to conscripts in exchange for money.
They enlisted the help of doctors they knew from various specialties in the scheme.
The couple was caught red-handed in the Bucha district while receiving the final installment of the bribe.

In total, they valued their “services” at $20,000. Law enforcement documented two transfers of funds totaling $8,000, and they were detained while receiving another $12,000.
The suspects were charged. The woman was taken into custody, and the man was placed under house arrest. The prosecutor’s office is preparing an appeal against this decision.
