A new automobile border crossing is being built on the border with Moldova
Construction is underway in the Vinnytsia region on the "Bronnytsia–Ungur" international road border crossing on the border with Moldova. The project aims to create modern infrastructure to increase throughput capacity, speed up border crossings, and improve transport connections.
Currently, construction work is proceeding on schedule; the installation of service pavilions for customs officers and border guards is underway, as well as the installation of metal structures for the inspection bridge and the columns of the protective canopy. A pavilion for processing bus passengers has already been delivered to the site, which will make inspection procedures more comfortable. Overall, the implementation of this project is aimed at strengthening the country’s logistics capabilities and stimulating economic development in border regions.
This was reported by the press service of the Recovery Agency.
Previously, at the “Medika” checkpoint on the Ukrainian-Polish border, technical issues arose with the Polish Border Guard’s database, causing delays in processing vehicles and passengers.
At the Ukrainian-Polish border, the “Medika–Shehyni” border crossing point will temporarily operate with restrictions due to road repairs on the Polish side.
