A 17-year-old employee of a furniture workshop died in the Lviv region
On Monday, September 7, a 17-year-old boy died at the “Busol” LLC furniture factory in the village of Utishkiv, Krasne Community. The teenager was pulled into a press machine.
According to the Lviv Regional Police and Prosecutor’s Office, at around 5:30 p.m., while working in the furniture workshop, a 17-year-old resident of Krasne was pulled into a press machine. He died at the scene from his injuries.
“All circumstances of the incident are currently being investigated, as well as the individuals responsible for ensuring compliance with occupational safety requirements,” the prosecutor’s office reported.
A criminal case has been opened (Part 2 of Article 271 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) for violations of occupational safety laws that resulted in a fatality. Law enforcement officials are not disclosing any details. The tragedy occurred in the village of Utishkiv at the furniture factory of Busol LLC.
According to YouControl, “Busol” LLC was registered over 31 years ago in Busk. The company manufactures mattresses and furniture. The owner is Roman Pryshlyak, a resident of the village of Krasne.
