In the Odesa region, a deserter threw a grenade at police officers
In the Podilsky District of the Odesa Region, two police officers and a civilian man were injured as a result of a grenade explosion. The incident occurred on July 5 during an attempt to apprehend a traffic violator.
A patrol police response team stopped a 52-year-old moped rider. While checking his documents, the officers discovered that the driver had deserted his unit. The man then pulled out a grenade and began threatening to use it, after which the grenade exploded.
As a result of the incident, two law enforcement officers and the offender himself were injured. An investigative team from the local police department is working at the scene to establish all the circumstances of the incident in order to determine its legal classification.

In the Khmelnytskyi region, a man was detained for firing an automatic rifle at a Territorial Center for Recruitment and Training building.
