In the Odesa district, police are investigating a case of torture of an 11-year-old child by a group of teenagers.

According to law enforcement officials, a classmate invited the boy to go for a walk and led him to a hideout where other teenagers were gathered. There, a 13-year-old boy began beating and choking the child, forcing him to kneel and beg for forgiveness.

The abuse lasted several hours. The other teenagers watched the events unfold and filmed everything on video.

The boy sustained physical injuries but did not tell his family about the attack due to threats from his assailant. Later, his mother learned of the incident and contacted the police.

Law enforcement officials opened a criminal case under the article on torture. Expert examinations have been ordered, including a forensic medical examination, to determine the severity of the child’s injuries.
