In the Odesa region, a woman fatally struck her own one-year-old son with her car

A fatal traffic accident occurred in one of the villages of the Bilyayivska community in the Odesa district, resulting in the death of a one-year-old boy.

According to preliminary reports, a 38-year-old woman driving a Mercedes Vito failed to notice her son as he ran out of the yard while she was pulling out of the property and struck him. The child died at the scene from his injuries.

Law enforcement officials are investigating the circumstances of the tragedy and determining whether to open a criminal case.
