In the Poltava community, approximately 1,600 customers were left without power due to an accident in the power grid. Power company workers are already working to resolve the situation.

According to the head of the Regional State Administration, the power outage affected approximately 1,600 customers in the Poltava community.

Specialists from Poltavaoblenergo JSC have already begun emergency repair work to restore power to consumers as quickly as possible.

At this time, the timeline for full restoration of power has not been specified. Power company workers continue to work on resolving the consequences of the accident.

On the night of August 5, Russian troops struck a critical infrastructure facility in Chuhuiv, Kharkiv Oblast. As a result of the attack, approximately 13,300 customers were left without power.

As a result of the nighttime attack by Russian forces on the Kyiv region on August 5, 2026, 14 people were killed, and another 27 civilians were injured. Rescue workers continue to address the aftermath of the strikes and extinguish fires in several districts of the region.

Over the past 24 hours, on August 4, Russian troops attacked the Zaporizhzhia region 1,052 times, striking 50 settlements in the region. Two people were injured as a result of shelling in Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia district.
