In the Poltava region, two former employees of a medical facility will stand trial for embezzling 13 million hryvnias
In the Poltava region, two former officials of a medical facility will stand trial on suspicion of making payments totaling more than 13 million hryvnias to fictitious employees. According to the National Police, between 2022 and 2024, they entered false information into payroll records.
Based on these documents, requests for funding the payroll fund were submitted to local government authorities, and subsequently, payroll statements with inflated payment amounts were generated.
As a result of these illegal actions, the local budget suffered losses of nearly 13 million hryvnias.
In June, the former chief accountant and her deputy were notified of the charges against them. The indictment has now been submitted to the court, according to the National Police of Ukraine.
