"Putin can be influenced if a thousand drones fly toward Moscow," Zelenskyy said
Large-scale strikes by Ukrainian drones on Moscow and St. Petersburg could alter the Kremlin’s strategic calculations. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that the psychological pressure resulting from the extension of hostilities onto Russian territory, combined with the economic consequences, will force Putin to personally feel the consequences of the war he started.
“When not just a hundred drones, but a thousand are flying toward Moscow… he’ll understand. When he begins to feel this personally, when he sees it with his own eyes, you’ll see how his advisors will urge him to move somewhere beyond the Urals,” the head of state emphasized, adding that Putin’s departure from the capital would bring the end of the conflict one step closer.
Ukraine plans to continue intensifying strikes on legitimate military targets in the Russian Federation and in occupied Crimea. The main targets for the Defense Forces remain military bases, logistics hubs, ammunition depots, air defense systems, and airfields used by Russian aviation. The ultimate goal of this long-range campaign is to exhaust the aggressor’s military potential as much as possible and create conditions under which the Russian leadership will be forced to end the war.

Zelenskyy also stated that a large-scale long-range campaign using drones has the potential to radically change the course of the war. In his view, a significant increase in the number of airstrikes on the Russian capital will force dictator Vladimir Putin to leave Moscow, which will bring the end of the war much closer.
U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is under pressure, and the end of Russia’s war against Ukraine may be closer than many expect.
During a speech at the United Russia party congress, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin delivered yet another round of propaganda claims regarding the war in Ukraine and the domestic political situation in Russia. The Kremlin leader assured those present that the situation currently remains completely “under control” and that Western countries are incapable of defeating Russia on the battlefield.
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry dismissed Putin’s statements and cited the actual losses suffered by Russia.
