An explosion occurred in the Sumy region while attempting to transport a downed drone
In the Sumy region, men were attempting to load a downed drone into a car when an explosion occurred. The incident resulted in fatalities. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation.
This was reported in a Telegram post by Oleg Grigorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
According to the head of the Regional State Administration, in the morning in the Putivl community, men discovered parts of a drone and loaded them into a car. One of the explosive components detonated. Unfortunately, two men, aged 45 and 47, were killed in the explosion.
“Such finds can often pose a deadly danger. If you discover suspicious or unknown objects—do not approach them, do not touch them, and immediately notify emergency responders or the police,” Grigorov said.
