Three heads of district territorial recruitment and social support centers in the Ternopil region have been notified of charges against them for entering false data into the automated military registration system.
According to the investigation, between 2025 and 2026, the officials used their official access to the system to enter information about the alleged mobilization of citizens who were, in fact, already serving in units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
As a result, these servicemen were listed in reports as newly conscripted, which allowed for the artificial inflation of mobilization figures. To date, law enforcement has documented illegal alterations to data concerning nearly 70 servicemen.
The suspects are three heads of district military registration and enlistment offices, aged 40, 37, and 44. They are charged with unauthorized actions involving information processed in automated systems.
The court imposed a pretrial detention measure on the suspects, with the possibility of bail, and suspended them from their official duties.
The prosecutor’s office noted that the investigation is ongoing, and law enforcement officials are examining other possible incidents and individuals involved in the illegal interference with the military registration system.
