A state-of-the-art operating room has been opened at the Lviv Veterans Hospital
On June 11, the renovated operating room at the Yuriy Lypa Lviv Regional Hospital for War Veterans and Victims of Repression began operations following a major renovation.
As part of the project, the medical facilities underwent a major renovation and modernization, creating modern conditions for performing surgeries and treating patients. The total cost of the project was nearly 200 million hryvnias, with the majority of the funding provided by the regional budget.
Following the major renovation, a modern operating department began operations at the hospital, featuring 13 fully renovated operating rooms, pre- and post-operative wards, as well as facilities for medical staff. A modern ventilation system was installed, a medical gas system was set up, and state-of-the-art medical equipment was installed, according to Lviv Regional State Administration Chairman Maksym Kozytskyi.
The total cost of the project, according to the design and cost estimate documentation, exceeds 199 million UAH, with the majority of these funds coming from the regional budget.
The head of the Lviv Regional State Administration reported that from 2021 to 2025, over 927 million hryvnias from the regional budget were allocated for the development and needs of this facility.
