In Kyiv, law enforcement officers detained Yevhen Shulhat, a journalist for hromadske. The police stopped the taxi in which he was traveling, after which the journalist was handcuffed.
The police stated that the alleged reason for the detention was a violation of military registration rules. At the same time, the hromadske editorial office asserts that the journalist has not committed any violations, as confirmed by relevant documents.
Hromadske noted that Yevhen Shulhat had been working on investigative reports, including stories about alleged corruption among law enforcement officials.
