Frost, rain, and sleet are expected in Ukraine this weekend, April 11–12
Cold weather is forecast for Ukraine this coming weekend, with nighttime frosts and precipitation in the form of rain and sleet.
This is reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
According to forecasters, light precipitation is expected in most regions. Winds will be predominantly westerly, 5–10 m/s.
Nighttime temperatures will range from 1–6°C, but ground frosts down to 0–3°C are possible, and in some regions, frosts may also occur in the air. Daytime temperatures will rise to 5–13°C.
It will also be cold in Kyiv and the surrounding region this weekend: overnight, frosts of 0–2° are expected in the capital, and 0–3° in the region. During the day, temperatures will rise to 5–7° in Kyiv and 4–9° in the region.
Precipitation is possible in some areas, mainly in the form of rain, and in some places at night—with wet snow.
On Easter, April 12, most regions of Ukraine are expected to see intermittent rain with brief sunny spells.
