NABU has revealed the first details of the dismantling of a criminal group as part of the “Forest Gump” special operation
On August 19, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) announced a large-scale special operation, “Forest Gump,” aimed at exposing a criminal organization that, according to investigators, operated under the leadership of current and former members of parliament. The organization may also have included high-ranking officials from the Office of the President and other individuals. Anti-corruption agencies have already released the first audio recordings related to the case and promise to disclose further details of the operation at a later date.

The NABU also reported that during searches conducted as part of Operation “Forrest Gump,” detectives and prosecutors discovered a document outlining a crisis communication plan regarding the work of the Verkhovna Rada’s Temporary Investigative Commission. It outlined the main communication steps and messages to be used in response to the public situation surrounding the TSC’s activities.
As a reminder, searches are being conducted at Sens Bank as part of a special anti-corruption operation by NABU and the SAPO.
NABU and the SAP announced a special operation to expose a criminal organization which, according to preliminary data, operated under the leadership of current and former members of the Ukrainian Parliament and with the participation of high-ranking officials from the Office of the President and other individuals.
As part of the “Forest Gump” anti-corruption operation, searches are also being conducted at the residence of Iryna Mudra, deputy head of the Office of the President.
NABU and the SAPO have released wiretap recordings in connection with the “Forest Gump” anti-corruption special operation.
