NAUDI called for the drone manufacturer Vyriy to continue its operations

The National Association of the Defense Industry of Ukraine has called on law enforcement agencies to prevent Vyriy from ceasing operations due to searches. The association emphasized that the company is one of the key manufacturers of FPV drones for Ukrainian defenders, and that any investigative actions should not disrupt the fulfillment of contracts.

The National Association of the Defense Industry of Ukraine (NAUDI) has expressed concern over the searches being conducted at Vyriy—one of Ukraine’s largest manufacturers of FPV drones and related components.

The association’s statement emphasizes that the company plays a vital role in supplying the Security and Defense Forces with modern unmanned systems, so its operations must remain uninterrupted even during investigative proceedings. “The National Association of the Defense Industry of Ukraine is deeply concerned about the searches being conducted at one of the most efficient domestic drone manufacturers—Vyriy,” the association stated.

The association noted that Vyriy is one of the pioneers of the Ukrainian FPV drone market. For several years now, the company has been expanding its production, increasing output, and supplying unmanned systems and components to the Ukrainian military. NAUDI drew particular attention to the fact that the searches were preceded by a large-scale information campaign against the company. “Any legal assessments and procedural decisions must be based solely on the results of an objective and impartial investigation, not on media pressure or public opinions,” the association emphasized.

NAUDI noted that it respects the work of law enforcement agencies and recognizes the need for investigations when required by law. At the same time, the organization called on the State Bureau of Investigations and the Office of the Prosecutor General to organize investigative actions in such a way that they do not paralyze the company’s operations. “We urge that all procedural actions be conducted in such a way as to prevent the unjustified disruption of the company’s operations, the disruption of production processes, or the fulfillment of contracts to meet the needs of Ukrainian defenders,” the statement reads.

The association emphasized that today, every enterprise in the defense-industrial complex is of strategic importance to the country. That is why any disruptions in production could affect the supply of necessary equipment to the Ukrainian military. “Today, every enterprise in the defense-industrial complex that manufactures products for the front lines is a vital component of the state’s defense capability,” NAUDI noted.

The organization also expressed hope that, once all necessary procedural steps are completed, Vyriy will resume operations as usual. “We expect that, once the necessary investigative actions are completed, the company will be able to resume its activities as usual. A shared priority for the state, society, and the entire defense industry is the uninterrupted supply of effective means to the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine for the protection of the state and the repulsion of the aggressor,” the association emphasized.

As a reminder, it was previously reported that the State Bureau of Investigations is conducting searches at Vyriy as part of an investigation into the possible overpricing of drones supplied to the state. The company itself stated that it is cooperating with the investigation, providing all necessary documents, and continuing to fulfill its contractual obligations to the Ukrainian Defense Forces. This was reported by the NAUDI press service.

As a reminder, the Russian Federation’s military suffered 1,310 casualties over the past 24 hours, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The occupiers attacked Kostiantynivka with incendiary munitions and caused a “phosphorus rain.”
