The Names of Ukraine's Best Educators Have Been Announced
The Global Teacher Prize Ukraine national award has announced the top 25 finalists for 2026 in the special “Early Childhood Education” category, organized with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and UNICEF Ukraine.
The award’s main organizer, the public association “Osvitoria,” noted that the finalists include educators from across the country who work every day to create an environment of trust and growth for children. The winner of the category will be announced on October 3, World Teachers’ Day.
The list of finalists includes Olga Basanets from Shostka, Vira Berezhok from Vinnytsia, Tetiana Bizyuk from Netishyn, Olena Buyval from Krolevets, Anastasia Vasylenko from Sumy, Olena Galagan and Lilia Kulaga from Kharkiv, Yanina Galich from Cherkasy, and Natalia Kalayda from Kamianets-Podilskyi.
Also making the top 25 were Yulia Kramarenko from the village of Novi Petrivtsi, Inna Levenko from Nizhyn, Valentina Maksymchuk from the village of Pokotylivka, Natalia Ovcharenko from Kharkiv, Svitlana Panchenko from Kropyvnytskyi, Natalia Petrenko from Chernihiv, Yulia Petryshyn from Ivano-Frankivsk, and Iryna Pitsyk from Stryi.
Among the top educators were Anna Polishchuk from the village of Mukhivtsi, Yulia Radchenko from Irpin, Lolita Saranchuk from Mohyliv-Podilskyi, Tetiana Frolova from Poltava, Yulia Cherkas from the village of Sakhnovshchyna, Kateryna Chudaeva from the village of Sloboda, Olena Yakubova from Kyiv, and Maryna Yashnyk from the village of Budky.
