The NBU has set exchange rates for June 3; the dollar and euro are rising in value
The National Bank of Ukraine has set the official exchange rates for June 3, 2026. Compared to the previous day, the U.S. dollar, the euro, and the Polish zloty have strengthened against the hryvnia.
According to the regulator’s data, the official exchange rate for the dollar is 44.33 UAH, for the euro – 51.66 UAH, and for the Polish zloty – 12.20 UAH.
An analysis of currency market dynamics for the period from May 27 to June 3 indicates a moderate weakening of the hryvnia against major global currencies.
The euro saw the largest increase over the week, gaining about 14 kopecks and exceeding the 51.60 UAH mark.
The U.S. dollar rose more modestly—by about 6 kopecks—remaining below the 44.5 UAH level.
The British pound sterling also rose—by 11 kopecks, the Swiss franc—by 10 kopecks, and the Polish zloty—by 2.5 kopecks.
Despite the appreciation of foreign currencies, exchange rate fluctuations remain insignificant. Experts note that Ukraine’s currency market is currently showing relative stability, and exchange rate changes are occurring within the range of normal market fluctuations.

Thus, in early June, major foreign currencies continued to gradually strengthen against the hryvnia, with the euro showing the largest weekly gain.

The day before, the NBU published the hryvnia exchange rates against foreign currencies as of June 3. The dollar officially rose by 3 kopecks, and the euro by 7 kopecks.
The National Bank of Ukraine set the official hryvnia exchange rate against the U.S. dollar on June 2 at 44.3023 UAH per dollar, marking a new historic low for the Ukrainian currency.
Prior to this, the NBU had set the official exchange rate for the dollar at 44.26 UAH and for the euro at 51.55 UAH as of June 1, 2026.
