The severe weather has caused widespread damage in several regions of Ukraine
Due to severe weather on May 28, rescue workers are dealing with the aftermath across various regions of the country. The highest number of calls was recorded in the Kirovohrad region, where State Emergency Service units responded to 92 incidents to assist residents and address the effects of the storm.

Due to strong gusts of wind and rain, State Emergency Service units were repeatedly called upon to clear fallen trees and address the aftermath of the storm in the Mykolaiv, Sumy, Zhytomyr, Kirovohrad, Zaporizhzhia, and Carpathian regions.
It is noted that rescuers cleared roadways, removed fallen trees from residential areas, and freed damaged vehicles. The largest number of calls came from the Kirovohrad region, where State Emergency Service units carried out 92 emergency responses.
There were no fatalities or injuries as a result of the storm.
“During strong winds, avoid standing under trees, billboards, and power lines. In case of danger, call ‘101,’” the State Emergency Service emphasizes.



As a reminder, the bad weather left thousands of people without power in the Kyiv region.
