Due to severe weather conditions, more than 100 settlements in nine regions remain without power. Ukrenergo reported that repair crews from regional power companies are working to restore power to consumers as quickly as possible.
This was reported with reference to Ukrenergo.
“Due to damage to overhead power lines caused by strong gusts of wind, as of this morning, more than 100 settlements in nine regions—in Sumy, Khmelnytskyi, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Poltava, Kherson, and Kyiv regions—are completely or partially without power,” the statement reads.
The company emphasizes that regional power company repair crews are doing everything possible to restore power to consumers as quickly as possible.
In particular, following this morning’s drone attack, the situation in Sumy Oblast is the most critical. A significant portion of consumers in the region remain without power due to enemy strikes on energy infrastructure facilities. Additionally, as of this morning, there are new power outages due to shelling in Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv Oblasts.
No power outages are planned in Ukraine on Tuesday, according to Ukrenergo.
As a reminder, in Kherson, the Central and Korabelny districts of the city are partially without power due to Russian shelling.
Ukrenergo has announced whether there will be power outages on April 26.
